Making the complex compelling.

Making the complex compelling.

I jump-started my writing career over a decade ago, working across luxury, fashion and lifestyle, creating everything from commercially driven campaigns to editorial and brand content.

More recently, my luxury background and interest in chemistry have taken me into alternative assets and science-backed beauty.

What began with luxury whisky soon opened up a much bigger world of markets, investor behaviour and the forces that shape the value of tangible assets.

I found myself increasingly drawn to the research behind the writing: interpreting market reports, exploring trends, and turning complex information into clear, accessible content. The same goes for cosmetic science.

I not only enjoy writing about it, but I’ve also begun formulating skin and haircare products myself.

I’m even pursuing qualifications in both chemistry and finance.

It felt like a natural evolution: bringing together my background in luxury with a growing interest in investments, markets and the stories behind valuable assets, and the very same background brought me to writing for premium beauty brands.

So today, that’s where much of my curiosity lies:

At the intersection of alternative assets, science-led beauty and luxury.

The writing is important. But I’m just as interested in what sits behind it.

For me, the best content starts with curiosity. Understanding the audience, asking the right questions and finding the angle that makes even the most complex subject worth reading about.

Research & Insight

Getting beneath the surface of complex subjects to uncover the details, trends, angles worth talking about and, of course, what that means for the audience.

Brand & Editorial

Shaping how brands communicate through tone of voice, rebrands, editorial concepts and storytelling that feels distinctive and consistent.

Commercial Thinking

Bringing more than a decade of commercial experience to content that understands its audience, its purpose and what it needs to achieve.

More Than Words: What I Bring

Whether I’m working from a market report or developing an editorial concept, I’m looking for the same thing:

the story that will make someone stop, understand and care.

Does this sound like something your business needs?
